While whiplash is most often associated with a neck injury, car wrecks can cause similar symptoms in the low back as well. Low back pain resulting from ‘whiplash’ injuries are reported in 50% of rear impact and 75% of all side impact automobile collisions. While low backs are less vulnerable in a car crash, the inherent weight bearing and seated posture of the lumbar spine make it a perfect ‘target’ for torn muscles, herniated discs and damaged nerves. As a chiropractor, Dr. Hall is unique in the health care field in that much of the training in chiropractic colleges is aimed specifically at successfully identifying, treating and managing lower back conditions. Dr. Hall has the training and experience to address the multiple aspects of such injuries. Proper care includes chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue restoration and supportive home care.
